How i hate reading
Reading was never one of my strong points as matter of fact I never liked reading even when I was a child. As a child, they say reading is very important in helping with mental development but I never listen until I was older and didn’t have good studding or reading skills. I have never picked up a book for the fun of it. Reading Is the last thing I want to do on my spare time when I am force to read for a class assignment I look at that as a punishment. I have tried to make myself read and hoped that I would learn to love it and it would become a good habit but no not me. I do not know why I hate reading so much knowing that I like to date dream a lot you would think I would loved to pick up a book and let my mind wonder but I just can’t get into it like that. Reading is like a waste of time to me when I read I feel like I missed something in life, those are hours I will never get back. I still try to have hope that I will get going with my reading because reading is life. Probably as I get a little older I will get into it because I will need it for my job, reading won’t be a big thing for my job but it will be a part of my career and it will come in handy.

Maybe if you found a book on something that you're interested in. Just look at things you like outside of school and choose a book that has something to do with that. That's what I found works best for me.
ReplyDeleteI agree! For me reading is difficult because I have so much going on I don't really have time to read, and it's hard for me to remember anything that happends even if I just read it I won't be able to tell you anything about it five minutes later lol.

ReplyDeleteOr maybe find a book that relates to you in some way. Maybe if it relates to you then you would find it more interesting because you some what know how it feels.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you totally. I have never been a big reader myself. I have wanted to be a reader from time to time hearing how many people say that reading relaxes them or is a great way to fall asleep. I just have never been able to bring myself to do that. I also have a hard time trying to find the time for "joy" reading, I always have a lot going on in my life as well. At this point with all that I have going on I have to make myself sit down to read "LIAR" and to do my homework. All those reasons are why and how I can agree with you on never being a big reader.
ReplyDeleteWell you might be what I call picky reader. Alot of times I pick up a book and have a hard time reading the book because it bores the crap out of me. If the book can't grab my attention in the first few pages I know that reading the rest of the book will be a punisment. Alot of times when I cant find what I am looking for in a book to read, I turn to the lovely magzine. I love to read magzines plus it has pictures. Im sure you could find somthing in a magazine that would intrest you. Perfect for the picky reader. Magazines is what help me to pick up a book. goodluck.
